On the eve of the swearing in ceremony of India’s fifteenth President, the Press Data Bureau shared a launch on Twitter from 1950 titled ‘Swearing in ceremony of President-elect and ministers on Thursday, January 26, 1950’.

The tweet included three pictures of a press launch which intricately detailed the Presidential swearing-in ceremony.
Droupadi Murmu can be sworn in as India’s fifteenth President right this moment, and he or she would be the tenth successive president to take oath on July 25 since 1977.
