MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte has established the Expanded Profession Development System for public faculty lecturers.
Duterte has signed Government Order No. 174 in a bid to enhance the welfare of public faculty lecturers.
“The expanded profession development system for public faculty lecturers is hereby established to advertise skilled growth and profession development amongst public faculty lecturers, and outline the profession strains of lecturers throughout the public faculty system, particularly within the elementary and secondary ranges, together with the Senior Excessive Faculty,” the order states.
“The System shall complement different profession pathways for skilled lecturers outdoors the general public primary training faculty system, as could also be outlined by the Skilled Regulation Fee (PRC), and supply for equivalence in duties, recognition, and compensation for lecturers selecting a profession line.”

Beneath EO No. 174, the next would be the courses within the Classroom Instructing Profession Line: Grasp Trainer I; Grasp Trainer II; Grasp Trainer III; Grasp Trainer IV; and Grasp Trainer V.
In the meantime, the courses within the Faculty Administration Profession Line shall be Faculty Principal I, Faculty Principal II, Faculty Principal III, and Faculty Principal IV.
Duterte’s order will take impact “instantly after publication within the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of basic circulation.”
